Trishuli river rafting is one of the most popular and
easily accessible rivers for rafting in Nepal as it flows down the main
highway. This river rafting offers the big, bouncy and relatively safe;
‘flips’ rapid of grade 3+ namely Snail's nose, Teendevi, Malekhu rapid,
Monkey rapid, Upset, Surprise, Monsoon, Cotton Pony, Ladies Delight,
S-Bend, Highway, Monsoon and Pinball Rapid. This trip is an ideal trip
that can have varied durations, depending upon the availability of time
and interest. Trishuli River originates from high Himalaya at
Gosainkunda - a famous pilgrimage place. It is believed that the God
Shiva drove his trident into the rocky mountain to create three springs
–the source of the river and hence its name Trishuli to quench his
thirst after swallowing the poison that threatened to destroy the
world.
Trishuli River rafting starts from a point in
Charaundi leaving behind the narrow canyon the walls becomes steep,
densely, forested, the current accelerates and the rapids increase more
and more. The river has to offer you some truly impressive gorges in its
lower part as it cut its way through the 2000 meters high Mahabharata
Range. Although relatively unsafe during monsoon, it is fun otherwise. A
Trishuli River trip can be combined with trips to Chitwan or Pokhara.
It is undoubtedly the most popular of Nepal's raft able rivers. Trishuli

Day 1: We drive 85kilometer for approx 3 to 4 hours from Kathmandu to starting point at Charaudi. As we start our trip we encounter a few class 2 or 3 rapids called "LADISE DELIGHT". Then we stop for lunch, after lunch white water hit a class 2 to 3 rapid called "UPSET" and "SURPRISE" At Fishling. Where we stop and have hot Tea/Coffee with snacks. At about 6:00 p.m. we reach at camp and have dinner.
Day 2: At around 6:30 in the morning we wake up have Tea and Breakfast then quick pack-up and continue our rafting where soon our run white water hit class 2 or 3 rapids namely "BIJILI RAPID" and "TEA POT" then we stop for the lunch. From there we raft up to our ending point in Simaltal and drive back to Kathmandu. Or you can add some more exciting trip to Pokhara and Chitwan.
